DBA Policies

Payments:

When paying upfront, the full amount is due immediately and is non-refundable. The amount varies depending on the course you are enrolling in. All payments are non-refundable.

​Payment Plans:​

1. We offer After-Pay. Pay it in x4 fortnightly payments. If you wish to use this, please send us a message or an email and we will send you the checkout link.

2. We offer a second payment plan option, and we refer to this as "DBA Flexi-Pay" - If you wish to use this, please send us a message or an email and we will send you an agreement to sign and upon signing you will receive the invoice to pay. See below information -​

DBA FLEXI-PAY: You have the option to choose what suits you!

1 month - x4 weekly payments (no fees attached)

2 months - Either x8 weekly payments or x4 fortnightly payments*

3 months - Either x12 weekly payments or x6 fortnightly payments*

*A fee between 7-10% is added to the course total.

Payments must clear in our account prior to us purchasing any kits. ***This applies to the DBA payment plan; we do not send you a kit until after the final instalment has been paid.

Refunds:

We do NOT offer ANY refunds on any full or partial amounts paid, for any courses at Desire Beauty Academy.

Lash/Brow Kits:

It will be ordered by us as soon as all funds clear (if paying upfront or using afterpay) or as soon as all payments are made (if using Podia or DBA's payment plan).

The whole process from ordering it and shipping it to you, may take up to 2-4 weeks from start to finish depending on:

• Where you live

• If it is a Holiday Season, and/or;

• Australia Post. 

We don't keep spare kits on hand due to some items having expiry dates, so we want to make sure they are a "fresh" as possible. (e.g. glue, primer, bonder, lamination supplies, etc) 

​PLEASE NOTE: All international students must use their own or supply their own lash kits themselves - please email me if you would like further information.

Shipping Information: 

All payments must clear in our account prior to us purchasing any kits. We will keep you updated with shipping every update we get! If there are any delays it will be due to Australia Post, and we will notify you of these delays ASAP.

Holiday period may be 4-8 week delays (this is out of our control and due to Australia Post usually being busy and inundated.

​Self Paced Courses:

If you are purchasing a course and don't email us to enrol in an intake this is called a "self-paced" course. You have 6 months from the date of purchase to complete the course, however all work must be submitted for completion a minimum of 4 weeks prior to the 6-month mark. This is so we have time to mark your work and hand it back to you for a resubmission if it is incorrect. If your work is incorrect by the course end date, you will not receive a certificate. If you have outstanding work, you will receive a reminder each month from 3 months to 1 month left. Your access will be ceased at 12:00am, on the end date whether you have a certificate or not.

Intakes:

To enrol in one of our intakes, please email us with which intake you are wanting to enrol in. Do not purchase a course before sending us an email. Our intakes will depend on whether we have enough numbers or not. We need a minimum of 3 for the intake to go ahead. No money will be taken until we have the numbers. If the intake date is 4 weeks out and we do not have enough students, that intake will not go ahead. If paying with a payment plan, you must be on the final payment on the date the intake starts. We will not enrol you into the intake unless we know you will be on the final payment or have it paid in full, when the intake date commences. Intakes are over 3 months and there will be a weekly or fortnightly zoom session for all students in that intake. It will be recorded if a student cannot make it. You will receive a certification upon successful completion of the course.

Extend Course End Date:

All online courses are valid for 6 months from purchase date. If you need extra time after that, you must notify us a minimum of 1 month prior to end date. Extending your course end date will incur a fee, this varies depending how many months you need to extend for. We have after-pay available for our course extensions.

Terms and Conditions apply upon requesting an extension.

We cannot extend courses for extra days, only extra month/s.

Zoom Sessions:

If you require a zoom session, this will incur a cost. The amounts are as follows:

• First + Second Zoom Session - FREE (only 30mins) 

• 3+ Zoom Sessions - $25.00 (per 30mins)

   

Notes: 

1. You must email us with your questions or concerns when requesting a zoom session. We will then discuss a day/time that best suits both of our schedules for the zoom session. 

2. Cost must be paid prior to Zoom Session. If you require longer time for your first or second session this must be discussed prior, and a cost will be given to you.

3. These costs must be paid in either in full, upfront or we will allow you to use via after-pay.

4. Zoom Sessions are a minimum of 30 minutes.

 

By purchasing one or more of our courses you are agreeing to all policies, information about our courses, our terms of service and our privacy policy.​

E-BOOKS

Payments:

Access:

You will be sent a link to download straight after purchasing, or you can log into your account on our website and access it there.

You have 14 days from purchase to access your ebooks, after that the link will be invalid.

STRONGLY RECOMMEND: Please download/save the ebook to your device as soon as you open it! That way you have it forever.
